You’ve found your way here because you’ve always sensed that something wasn’t quite “right” about the world. Perhaps you heard whisperings in ancient Hindu myths, or saw The Matrix and wondered if there might be some hint of truth to the tale.
Now you are ready to move past those intuitions and begin a quest, to discover what is waiting behind the veil of everyday experience, and to discover the greatest secret of life — the mystery of who you really are.

Adventuring Hints
The clues to Satori are hidden throughout the Satori universe. You can find them anywhere, from the nearby park to an aisle at your local grocery store. Importantly, clues manifest not just as external things, but often as your reaction to your experiences. They are found in your judgments, in your fears, in your thoughts. But there is great power (and lots of fun) to be found when you break free from your usual life pathways. In this section, I’ll provide ideas and hints that will give you access to more in-game adventures, and broaden your chances of finding clues.
- Join the Satorian Insider’s League — This one step will deliver a host of clues, from receiving notifications of new videos to being able to suggest video topics.
- Get an app that shows you where public lands are located — Nature provides endless adventure, but much land is held privately. Find an app that shows what lands are available for exploration. In the U.S., OnXHunt is a paid app that will help you navigate public lands throughout the entire country, and also allows you to drop waypoints. For free apps, check out your local department of natural resourses website. Note that even if you aren’t a hunter, most of these apps are marketed for hunters, so use that knowledge as you search for an app that works for you.
- In the U.S., national forest lands grant huge freedoms — In national forests, you can camp in one location for up to 2 weeks. After that you have to move, but you can move from place to place indefinitely. You can hunt and forage according to state regulations, and can essentially live “wild” if you are willing to be nomadic.
- WWOOFing can open the world to you — WWOOFing is a world-wide program where organic farms take workers from around the world to learn and work at their farm. Usually you work in exchange for room, board, and a small stipend.
- Become a monk — Temples and monasteries around the world are open to people who seriously want to pursue the monk lifestyle. Check out training opportunities at Shaolin monasteries (be careful about your choices), in India, Thailand, and in your own country.
- Learn a new skill — By learning a new skill you can meet new people, delve into your fears, and explore new world views. Plus new skills deliver new opportunities to apply those skills, opening doorways. It can be anything from knitting to skydiving. Some ideas include horse riding, rock climbing, search and rescue, martial arts, painting, or singing.
- Volunteer — This includes the standard ideas, like working at your local food shelf or animal shelter, but also some that you might not usually think of, like becoming a volunteer firefighter, volunteering for science projects around the world (look up citizen science), or volunteering to help your elderly neighbor with their lawn.
- House or pet sit — use a site like this to become a house or pet sitter, giving you access to living in different environments around your country or the world.
- Learn to converse — Find a local or online class on developing conversation skills. It will open up many doors when you learn how to talk with people effectively.
- Make a Bowl of Challenges — Instructions are on page 80 of Becoming Dungeonmaster, or in this video.
- Visit the ReWild University YouTube channel — You’ll discover over 500 videos that hold all sorts of clues for expanding your attributes, virtues, and adventuring abilities.
- Get an unusual job — Try working at a dude ranch, a hemp farm, doing trail work for the national park service, or other jobs that take you out of your comfort zone and current environment.
- Sign up for a life-altering experience — This can be anything from diving with sharks with Ocean Ramsey to going on a meditation retreat to becoming a forest monk at ReWild University. There are tons of options out there.
- More coming =)
